Desk completes what Signal raises. It assembles the evidence, drafts the charge, answers the client, books the window, and writes the result back into your systems after approval.

01What it completes
Extracts CMR, delivery notes and invoices, matches them to the order, and files them where billing can reach them.
Assembles the evidence pack, raises the charge against the correct rate, and chases it until it is paid or withdrawn.
Answers order and status requests in the client's own channel and language, and escalates what it cannot close.
Books, confirms and rebooks ramp windows with warehouses and clients, and tells the driver what changed.
Opens the claim, collects the photographs, delivery note and correspondence, and tracks it to a decision.
Follows up missing documents, unconfirmed bookings and unanswered requests on the schedule the contract sets.
02What a human approves
Every action Desk can take is classified before it is switched on. The table below is the default; it is set per customer and can be tightened at any time.
| Action | Approval | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Raising a charge to a client | Always | Evidence pack attached |
| Sending a message to a client | Per template, then per message | Until the template is trusted |
| Writing to the TMS or WMS | Always on first use, then per rule | Scoped credentials |
| Booking or moving a dock window | Per client policy | Reversible |
| Filing a document | Automatic | Reversible, fully logged |
| Closing a case | Always | Never closed by the agent alone |
